3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for:

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

• Scrape or harvest data from the Service
• Abuse API endpoints or attempt to bypass rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

4.3 API Usage

• API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier
• Excessive API usage may result in throttling or temporary suspension
• API keys are personal and must not be shared or published publicly
• We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or violation of these terms

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers with varying features and limits. Subscription details and pricing are available on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

5.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe (subject to Stripe's Terms of Service)
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• You are responsible for ensuring payment information is current

5.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods

5.4 Trial Periods

• Trial periods (if offered) are valid once per customer
• We may require payment information to activate trials
• Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before expiration

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

• All content, features, and functionality are owned by BT4T
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

6.2 Your Content

• You retain ownership of trading data and journal entries you upload
• You grant us a license to process, analyze, and display your data
• You represent that you have the right to upload your content

7. AI-Generated Content

7.1 AI Processing

• We use OpenAI's API to generate trading insights, journal analysis, and educational content
• Your trading data, journal entries, and performance metrics may be sent to OpenAI for processing
• OpenAI does not use data sent via API to train their models (per OpenAI's API Terms)
• You can opt out of AI features in your account settings to prevent external data processing

7.2 AI Insights Disclaimer

• AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only
• AI insights are not financial, investment, or trading advice
• We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• You should independently verify all AI-generated insights

7.3 No Investment Advice

• The Service does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice
• All trading decisions are your sole responsibility
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• You should consult qualified financial advisors for investment decisions

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Exchange Integrations

• We integrate with third-party exchanges (Hyperliquid, Binance, Bybit, OKX, BitGet, KuCoin, MEXC, Gate.io, Deribit, Lighter)
• You are responsible for complying with third-party terms of service
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures or downtime
• Exchange API credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
• We only require read-only API keys — BT4T cannot place trades
• We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials

8.2 External Links

• The Service may contain links to third-party websites
• We are not responsible for third-party content or services

9. Data and Privacy

9.1 Data Collection

• We collect data as described in our Privacy Policy
• You consent to data collection and processing

9.2 Data Security

• We implement reasonable security measures
• No system is 100% secure
• You acknowledge the inherent risks of internet transmission

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BT4T from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service

• Your violation of any third-party rights
